12/9/2011 Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Services MOSESCommunication Coordinator The Communication Coordinator manages MOSES communications, technology systems, image/brand, measurement and evaluation. The ideal candidate for the communication coordinator position is technologically savvy and enjoys interacting with people, both in person and online. This person is responsible for managing printed material design and image. They will maintain the MOSES website and electronic presence, including Facebook and the monthly enews electronic newsletter. This person also helps trouble shoot problems involving computer hardware and software. The communication coordinator will develop and maintain systems and measurement tools to best optimize our people, strategies, resources, and culture. Candidates should also enjoy bringing creative ideas to the table. Internship Troy Community Farm is a 5-acre, certified organic vegetable farm.  We provide food for 160 CSA members, an on-site farmstand, and several wholesale accounts.  Farm interns work in every aspect of vegetable production and marketing on our urban farm.  In addition, interns attend a series of 13 formal on-farm classes covering greenhouse management, fertility, cover crops, irrigation, marketing, basic beekeeping and more. Farm Manager Established over 30 years ago, Plow Creek Farm is a diversified, organically managed operation connected with an intentional Christian community. The farm operation includes two acres of strawberries, two acres of blueberries, smaller plantings of blackberries and raspberries, 5 acres of mixed vegetables and a small herd of grass-fed cattle. Responsibilities include development of yearly crop plans, soil and fertility management, equipment use and maintenance, supervision of staff/interns, pest and disease management, and marketing and selling of crops, as well as the hands-on work of planting, hand weeding, harvesting, and post-harvest handling. 12/14/2011 Equinox Community Farm 
Internship Equinox Community Farm is a small market farm and CSA located in Waunakee, WI just a twenty minute drive from downtown Madison. They raise a wide variety of vegetables as well as a number of herbs, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. They also keep laying hens, raise a handful of pigs, and make maple syrup.  Their primary market for our produce is our CSA which will have approximately 120 shares this season; they also sell at the Northside Farmer’s Market in Madison. Interns will be involved with all aspects of production including greenhouse work, planting, transplanting, cultivation & weeding, harvesting, washing & packing, and working at the Farmer’s Market. 11/29/2011 Driftless OrganicsPacking Shed CoordinatorResponsibilities include: coordinating the washing and packing of over 400 CSA boxes a week, filling numerous wholesale orders and preparing for weekly farmers markets. Other duties include receiving produce from the field, keeping the coolers organized and supervising a crew of 2-8 people. Some field and greenhouse work is required as well, especially in the spring.  Looking for someone with excellent leadership and organizational skills who enjoys working indoors. 11/17/2011 MOSACertification Specialist Primary responsibilities of the Certification Specialist position include customer service for new and updating organic crop and livestock producers as well as processor/handler operations, evaluating organic plan information and inputs to determine compliance with the National Organic Standards, and communication with organic operators about certification requirements. The ideal candidate will have the required formal education of a college degree, or equivalent by training or experience, and knowledge--preferably by experience--of organic farming and certification. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; strong computer skills; and the ability to do detail-oriented work in a fast paced environment are required. This is a full-time position with benefits and requires working out of MOSA's office in Viroqua, Wisconsin.
